Our team brings together artists, teachers, musicians and collaborators who share a quiet devotion to practice, curiosity and thoughtful work with others. Each contributes a different sensitivity — through movement, sound, craft or reflection — forming a supportive environment where participants can explore and grow at their own rhythm.

A performance artist born in Milan, creator of contemporary dance-theatre and multimedia performances. Her work has been presented at numerous festivals and theaters in Italy and abroad. She graduated in Live Performing Arts from DAMS – Department of Music and Performing Arts, University of Bologna. She trained and performed with directors Jerzy Grotowski and Thomas Richards and collaborated professionally with major contemporary theater and dance companies in several Eastern European countries. She has taught movement at universities in Italy and abroad (University of Urbino, Malta, Novi Sad, Belgrade, Osijek, Zagreb). For five years, she directed the Theater Program at ADA – Arezzo Academy of Art, where she currently teaches. As founder and curator of Yanvii Factory, she has developed international artistic projects, festivals, and training programs in several countries, taking part in meetings and debates related to artistic production. She has written texts on art and politics, published in various books and magazines. Her teaching develops through personal pedagogical practices that reflect the diversity of the individuals she encounters.

Graduated in Theoretical Philosophy from the University of Turin in 2014 and earned a master’s degree in Oriental and Comparative Philosophy in 2020. She completed her yoga teacher training in Rimini and India and continues to study regularly with Emilia Pagani, a senior Iyengar yoga teacher in Ravenna. In 2025, she finished the annual advanced yoga training program led by teacher, dancer, and choreographer Francesca Proia. For over ten years, Sofia has been teaching yoga, combining her practical experience with the inspiration of an ever-evolving and creative research process that restores perception as a continual source of discovery and wonder.

A choreographer and dancer, Paola has been active in the contemporary dance scene since the late 1980s. With her performances and video works, she has participated in numerous international dance, theater, and video festivals. She leads choreographic research workshops and gives lectures at various Italian universities. She has also been involved in the artistic direction of several festivals. In 2014, her book Corpo politico. Distopia del gesto, utopia del movimento was published by Editoria & Spettacolo. She has written numerous essays on the body and dance, published in books and magazines. In 2020, her ELP project won the Rete Critica Prize. In the same year, directors Clemente Tafuri and David Beronio produced La parte maledetta. Paola Bianchi, a documentary about her artistic career.

Ivan is an unorthodox and self-described “resigned” chef and writer by necessity. A committed anarchist, he transforms abandonment into a gift. He rescues edible scraps, devoting care and time to them, and retrieves freely available resources — returning them into circulation through sharing and relationships, guided by the motto “take what you want, give what you can.” He mainly lives by bartering. Ivan has written numerous short stories published in books and magazines, including a parte il resto tutto bene, io la vedevo, dovevo, animanimale, educarsi all’abbandono, and anonimo fra gli anonimi. A documentary about his lifestyle has been presented at several European festivals.

Born in 1977 in Cesena, where she currently lives, Michela graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna and earned a Master’s degree from the John Kaverdash Academy of Photography in Milan. A professional photographer, she collaborates with communication agencies and newspapers and has taught photography since 2010 at Accademia Romagna in Cesena. Her artistic practice focuses on reusing existing images, and her work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in Italy and abroad. In 2023, she received the Umane Tracce Award for the project PH and the Marco Bastianelli Award for her photography book Qui è tutto oro. In 2025, she won the Basilio Cascella Award for the project Dal fango nascono i fiori.

A talented singer born on January 11, 2005, Angie graduated from Liceo Antonio Canova di Forlì with a specialization in opera singing. She attended workshops with Valeria Esposito, Bernadette Manca di Nissa, and Maurizio Leoni, and studied and performed at various regional schools, including CTM Academy, Ateneo Danza, A.S.D. Danza University, and Cultural Association Inarte. She has won several competitions, most recently One Voice for Europe 2022. Skilled in improvisation, she continues deepening her voice work through artistic collaborations, workshops, and research.

A multidisciplinary artist, performer, and dancer, Ignazio has a strong connection to puppet theater. His work explores the intersection of body, space, and movement, with a focus on improvisation and instant creation. Specializing in the construction and manipulation of puppets, masks, and scenic objects, he blends craftsmanship and live performance to create poetic and visual narratives. For him, puppet theater and dance are complementary forms for storytelling and experimenting with new performative languages.

An artist and activist immersed in contemporary dance and theater since birth, Vera participated in her first performance at 12 months old at Theater Glej in Ljubljana. She studied guitar with Michele Ingoli, developing musical, compositional, and improvisational skills later extended to instruments such as drums and keyboards. Vera has participated in numerous theater and dance courses with Nhandan Chirco at international institutions, including ADA – Accademia dell’Arte in Arezzo. She has also taken part in workshops and performances with renowned artists such as Seijiro Murayama, Tomaz Grom, and Dragana Alfirevic. Currently studying multimedia arts, she also practices photography. In 2025, she performed in Fragole e Sangue presented at Ravenna Teatro and continues her dance studies with Marco Baldazzi at Officina delle Arti.

Based in New York City, Mercedes is a dance artist weaving anatomical science into somatic movement for human growth. A facilitator and observer at Washington Rock Dance, she engages in Kinetics of Care, exploring children’s embodiment and responsibility. Currently immersed with Doug Varone (Mass, ecstatic circular surges), Donna Uchizono (State of Heads, a meditation on attentive presence and uncertainty), and Gerald Casel (somatic spirals, PNF, yoga), she holds a BFA in Dance (Dance Science concentration) from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, and has also studied at Accademia dell’Arte in Italy. Her work channels breath, fluidity, and multiplicity to foster empathetic dancers and compassionate communities.

An eclectic musician, performer, and composer, Salvo plays and composes for keyboards, guitar, electric bass, vocals, and electronics. His current project, Salvus & the Giants, features fifteen original songs and a collective of musicians and performers, blending ancestral atmospheres with futuristic rhythms and poetic movement. Since 2015, he has collaborated with Nhandan Chirco as a musician and composer for theater projects and performances presented in Italy and abroad.

A top-tier metal drummer, Davide has collaborated with various bands and performed at festivals and tours across Italy, Europe, the USA, and the Philippines. He is currently active with the grindcore band Golem of Gore, which he co-founded, releasing albums and touring internationally, including an upcoming 2026 Mexico tour. In contemporary theater and dance, he has collaborated with Nhandan Chirco and participated in experimental sessions with Seijiro Murayama and Tomaz Grom. His new project explores electronic sounds.

A singer-songwriter and producer born in 1990, Amedeo has performed live on various Italian stages. A member of the rap & blues buskers band Le seppioline del mare and the rap collective Chimera, he is active as a producer, MC, and beatmaker. A self-taught songwriter passionate about experimentation, he explores expressive and sonic planes through lyrics and musical encounters. Active with Yanvii Factory, he organizes concerts and multidisciplinary events centered on freedom of expression. He is also part of the duo Il cuore e la vernice with singer-songwriter Giorgia Lamanna.

Traveler, teacher, and creative soul, Nias views food as community, awareness, and politics. Drawing on diverse training and global experience, she offers an ever-evolving, plant-based cuisine. Still searching for the place that feels like home, she combines teaching with traveling food stalls and home-restaurant projects.
